Last November Bruce, Dennis, and I fished Soldier Creek.

Soldier Creek Reservoir 09-08-2012

Spent the day trolling out of Dennis's boat. It was a nice fall day to be on the water. No big Cutthroats this trip, but we did manage some nice little Rainbows and Cutt's.

Treasureton Reservoir 05-18-2012

Late Thursday afternoon I left Daniels reservoir and headed for Treasureton reservoir. After getting the boat setup, and my bed made in the back of the truck I was able to fish for about an hour before it got dark. Bruce, Dennis, and Mark had fished Treasureton two weeks earlier and had caught a few Kamloop Rainbows that included one over six pounds, and one over eight pounds.

My time on the water this evening yielded me one decent trout, but it wasn't the trophy I was looking for, so that night I went to bed with high expectation for the next day.

In the morning I woke to cloudy sky's, rain, thunder and lightning.

By 8:30 am I couldn't wait any longer, so I decided to fish along the edge of the water under some over hanging trees. This ended up being a lot of fun, I caught several 6-10 inch large mouth bass.

And a nice surprise, a bass that measured around 18 inches and over 4 lbs.

When the weather started improving I started targeting trout.

Around 1:00 pm Dennis showed up.

We continued fishing, picking up a few trout and bass. Later in the afternoon Bruce joined us. 

Bruce wasn't there long before he picked up this hog.

Not to be outdone Dennis caught this beauty.

I never did catch my trophy, maybe next time.

Soldier Creek Reservoir 04-21-2012

Back in April Sam and I met up with Bruce, Dennis, and Mark at Soldier Creek reservoir. We caught a bunch of Rainbow trout between ten and fifteen inches long, not big but hard fighters that would come shooting out of the water when hooked. If I remember correctly only a few Cutthroat trout were caught between the five of us.

Treasureton 11-02-2011

While Bruce was on his fall vacation he caught these nice fish.

Two weeks later Dennis went to the same place.

A few days after Dennis had been Sam and I went.

Sam hooked up first with this nice Bow. He caught a bigger one later that slipped out of his hands before a picture.

First thing in the morning the line guides were freezing up.
